Je réalise enfin un vieux fantasme - je lis Outlander!

Je me sens comme une ado :p J'en peux plus, je dévore ce pavé. Tellement que je me suis couchée à 3h du mat', alors que je prenais le livre " pour m'endormir ".... Ca n'a pas marché du tout!!!

L'année dernière, je me suis enfin décidée à regarder la série. Laisse tomber, je suis complètement tombée amoureuse de Jamie, un crush de malade - encore un truc d'ado, j'en aurais presque honte :p Ca me rappelle ma période posters de Léonardo DiCaprio et Brad Pitt. Souvenirs, souvenirs...

Mais je m'égare. L'année dernière, après avoir fini les deux saisons disponibles de la série, je suis partie en expédition à la FNAC. Figurez-vous que le premier tome en anglais (car je voulais lire le roman dans sa langue d'écriture) n'était pas disponible. A l'époque, je l'ai vu comme un signe pour sauver mon porte-monaie, qui se sentait assez mal après une razzia dans plusieurs librairies.

Comme je ne vais pas souvent dans le centre-ville, j'en étais restée là. Maaaiiis Noël approchant, j'ai dû y retourner. J'ai dû chercher, mais je l'ai trouvé!! Vous connaissez la suite...

I need to talk about it. It is almost childish, but I need to share this with someone.

An old literary fantasy is finally becoming true - I am reading Outlander!!

I feel like a teenager :p I'm reading that super thick book non stop. so much that I went to bed at 3am yesterday night. I took the book to " help me fall asleep ". Didn't work at all.

Last year, I started watching the show. OMG, I totally fell in love with Jamie, what a big big crush I had on him!! Another teenage thing, I'm almost ashamed of it :p It reminds me of the time I had posters of Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt on the walls of my bedroom. Memories...

But I disgress. Last year, then, after binge watching the first two seasons of Outlander, I went to FNAC (the French equivalent of Virgin Megastore) and looked for the book in English, as I wanted to read it in the language it had been written in. No luck. The first volume was no where to be found. At the time, I took it as a sign that I should let it be, and spare my bank account, which had already suffered a lot from an expedition in various bookstores.

But last week, I had to go back downtown for my Christmas shopping. So I checked, just in case. And there it was, the first volume of the Outlander series, in English. The rest is history...

I will of course write a complete review, some day 🙂
